Our Board of Directors consists of passionate community homeowners who volunteer their time and expertise to ensure the success and well-being of our neighborhood. They oversee community policies, budgets, and initiatives while maintaining open communication with residents.

Board Responsibilities

  • Follow all governing documents, as well as state and local requirements when conducting the business of the HOA. 

  • Establish and maintain a strong financial foundation for both current and future obligations of the HOA. Create and utilize the necessary financial documents, tools and outside services related to budgeting, reserves, collection of Homeowners dues and payment of vendor bills. 

  • Ensure reasonable and consistent enforcement of rules and covenants that protect property values and neighborhood aesthetics. 

  • Demonstrate timeliness and consistency in addressing Homeowner’s concerns and interactions with all service providers. 

  • Establish and maintain regular, appropriate and effective forums (e.g. meetings, website access) to listen and respond to Homeowner’s concerns. 

  • Maintain, enforce and enhance neighborhood requirements that relate to the protection of property values, aesthetics, quiet enjoyment and the safety of people and pets. 

  • Build reciprocal community relationships that benefit the HOA. This includes the City of Deer Park (including the golf course), the Deer Park RV resort, HOA service providers and other community resources. 

  • Preserve and practice the principles described with the HOA’s Vision, Mission and Values statements.  

How the Board Operates

Open Board Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of February, April, July, and October at the Deer Park City Hall in the Council Chambers beginning at 6:00 pm. There will be an open agenda item each month under “New Business” where our homeowners can bring up concerns or ideas regarding our community. Remember, we ask that when bringing up concerns, that you also bring with you a solution we can all work on to resolve it together. while improving communication and getting more of us involved with open Board Meetings, and quarterly newsletters.
